The Scarf Festival is Back!
After a short hiatus, the very popular Scarf Festival is back and is moving from its former home at Craft Victoria in Melbourne to its new location at the National Wool Museum in Geelong, from 19 June to 19 July, 2009.
Get ready to strap yourselves in for a seven day blast of exceptional local and international animation in the 9th edition of the Melbourne International Animation Festival! MIAF is one of the largest collections of independent animation gathered at any festival in the world, screening over 350 films in competitive, student, curated & retrospective programs. Australia's most extraordinary art event, the Archibald Prize, first awarded in 1921, is one of this country's oldest and most prestigious art awards. Bendigo Art Gallery is pleased to participate in the tour of the Archibald Prize as the exclusive Victorian venue until July 12th.

Starting 8.30am - 1.00pm on the first Saturday of each month this growing community market is a great way to meet friends and give the kids something to do while you browse the many stalls and take in the fantastic views across the lake. This is Victoria's only absolute inland water front market.
