Aging Well in 2009 – Seniors Information Program

Wednesdays, November 4, 11, 18 and 25

Join us at the City of Melbourne’s Multicultural Hub – a friendly place, where people from Melbourne’s many different cultures can get together to work, share and learn in a safe and supportive environment.

During November the Multicultural Hub shall be hosting ‘Aging Well in 2009 – Seniors Information Program’. The program is presented by Seniors Information Victoria with peer-educators and guest speakers from seniors agencies.

Topics include:

1. What does it mean to age well in 2009? Exploring the myths and realities of ageing and opportunities to age well.

2. Staying at Home or Residential Care: Understanding all your options, the costs and the processes involved.

3. Staying Healthy: Practical suggestions for staying active and maintaining mental health and wellbeing.

4. Staying in Control: Maintaining control and making good legal and financial arrangement.
