About the Society

The Southern Peninsula Family History Society is a not-for-profit organisation which provides family history research facilities, assistance and education to residents of and visitors to the southern Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia.

Founded in 1983, the Society is run entirely by volunteers who over the years have built up an extensive catalogue of genealogical research material and who enjoy sharing their knowledge and expertise with others who are researching their family trees.

FACILITIES

      • Research Room with computers & internet access. Volunteers are on hand to help those who need assistance with their research.
      • Library with books, publications & records on CD and Microfiche
      • Research Officers who will undertake searches for those unable to visit the Research Rooms (fees may apply).
